SItuational Irony

Definition of Situational Irony: Situational irony is when the outcome of a situation is very different than expected, often in a comedic way.

Another Example: Someone goes to the trouble to steal (what he thinks is) a very expensive necklace from a jewlery store. However, later on he realizes it's actual worth is only around $10, and that the "diamonds" are fake.
